HAGSTROM FANTOMEN WHITE GLOSS

The Hagstrom Fantomen in White features a great new asymmetrical shape solid Mahogany body. It’s also much slimmer than you might expect which makes it surprisingly light weight and very well balanced. A slim Mahogany neck has been set in to the body using Hagstom’s classic mortise-and-tenon neck joint system. A 25.5” scale length gives the Fantomen a sharper attack and more sustain than a classic 24.75” found on many set neck instruments. Resinator wood fingerboard and patented H-Expander truss rod keep the neck super stable with a slick playing surface. The fretboard is fitted with 22 Medium Jumbo frets and an ultra flat 15” radius. Black binding and Pearl Block Inlays add a touch of class.

Lundgren Design humbuckers with coil split

The Hagstrom Fantomen is loaded with two chrome covered Lundgren Design AlNiCo humbuckers. Hagstrom worked with Swedish pickup guru Johan Lundgren who recommended two different humbucker designs: No. 2 in the neck position and No. 5 in the bridge position. The result covers an immense expressive range; from smooth, warm tones to the kind of attack and intense dynamic output that would satisfy the demands of even the most extreme musical styles. Each pickup can be split to single-coil mode by means of push/pull switches incorporated into the tone controls for even more sonic flexibility. This guitar speaks with many distinct voices.
